Timothy J. Mahoney

Timothy J. Mahoney graduated from Loyola University School of Law in 1988 after receiving his BA from the University of Illinois in 1984. He was admitted to practice by the Illinois Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 1988. Following law school, Tim worked for two firms where he defended professional negligence cases involving lawyers, accountants, dentists, doctors, and hospitals. He also gained experience defending FELA cases for railroads and defending automobile, pedestrian, and slip and fall cases.

In 1995, Tim joined Patrick Mahoney and Associates, P.C. as a shareholder and concentrated his practice in the area of personal injury trial work. He started his own firm in Wheaton, Illinois in 1997 and continued to focus on plaintiff's personal injury trial work. He and Thomas V. O'Connor practiced under the name O'Connor and Mahoney. In 2003, Tim established the firm of Timothy J. Mahoney, Attorney At Law, LLC and continued his trial work with a primary focus on plaintiff's personal injury. Tim joined Rolewick & Gutzke, P.C. as a Principal attorney in 2013.

Tim has recovered millions of dollars for his clients in cases involving medical negligence, dental negligence, automobile and motorcycle accidents, slip and fall accidents, dog bites, premises liability, explosions, and products liability. He is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
